PR Strategy Group

Cynthia Harris

Cynthia Harris, president and founder of PR Strategy Group, has developed and launched global and domestic technology public relations campaigns for 15 years, both in-house as head of corporate PR, as well as for PR agencies. Cynthia enjoys the “start-up” mode of working with young companies and then growing with them. She has a reputation for retaining clients because she generates results by being nimble, creative and capitalizing on opportunities. As a former Autodesk product manager, her “hungry rat” attitude demands results and successfully gets the job done.
Prior to becoming president of PR Strategy Group, Cynthia was the head of PR at Palm Source at the time they split from Palm. She took the company public on NASDAQ in 2003. Earlier, Inc. magazine commended Strategy Associates, which Cynthia founded in 1990, on The Inc. 500 list of America's Fastest-Growing Companies. Working Woman magazine recognized Cynthia individually in 2001 with a Western Region Entrepreneurial Excellence Award for Best Employer. In 2000 and 2001, she was named a finalist for the National Association of Women Business Owners Trailblazer award honoring exemplary employers. These accolades follow PRWeek's 1999 recognition of Strategy Associates as the fastest-growing PR agency in the United States. She holds a degree in education from Santa Clara University.
